Who I Am

Goodness, those three words do carry a lot of weight! Who am I? Well, without getting lost in an existential crisis, here is a little about me.

I am an actor.

I started as a kid in Georgia, in musical theater, plays, and singing solos in choirs. I trained and auditioned and got my feet wet in my hometown of Atlanta (and all surrounding areas), before coming to LA in high school. Since moving here, I've continued to train & audition, having successes & disappointments, bookings & near-misses, callbacks & amazing opportunities. It's a journey, it's a roller coaster ride, it has good days and bad days, and there's always more work to be done.

I am a writer.

Again, I started as a kid - I would bring original scenes into my acting classes. This grew through the years to writing for online publications as an entertainment writer & reviewer, writing for my high school newspaper, and writing original content for myself & others.

Now, I work freelance, writing original, unique content for actors' portfolios. I work with a production company, as well as directly with actors, to create material that showcases who they are and what they want to convey. I work with them to find the right character, tone, and situation that will put them in the best light.

I am a virtual assistant.

When I'm not being creative, I'm exercising the left side of my brain by working with high-level executives as their personal/executive assistant - virtually & remotely. I work one-on-one with each of my clients, helping them in areas as varied as day-to-day emails & calendar management, podcast admin, bill-paying and financial management, reading scripts & giving script coverage, creating artist contracts, and research - spanning everything from the best credit cards, to the best hotels in Vienna, to the best housekeeper. I love spreadsheets, use to-do lists on a daily basis, and know Google like the back of my hand.

I am the quiet one.

When we meet, you'll probably notice that I am a bit quieter - sure, I'm friendly, but I won't be the one leading the conversation. No, that is my Mom's area of expertise, and in many, many ways, we balance out each other. But that doesn't mean that I am any less invested. One of the coolest aspects of our working relationship is that we are different - in our perspectives, approaches, and demeanors - so you'll be getting a more holistic analysis and weighted advice. It's like getting a 2-for-1 special.

I am also a singer, avid Dodgers fan, lover of cats, and amateur graphic designer.

I look forward to meeting you!
